Good morning strong, encouraged, blessed, highly favored, healed, made whole, prosperous, successful, anointed, truth speaking and eye’s opened followers of Christ!
1 Thessalonians 5:14-22
“Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone. 15 See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 19 Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. 20 Do not scoff at prophecies, 21 but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. 22 Stay away from every kind of evil.”
God has a will for your life and it includes blessings, favor, peace, joy and love. By keeping yourself in right standing with God and allowing the Holy Spirit to work through you, God's perfect will can be carried out and your days filled with His peace, joy and love. If your choice is to live as this world and resemble the ungodly characteristics of the flesh, the Holy Spirit is stifled, inhibiting His ability to transform you from within. However, when you live in God's righteousness and, “Stay away from every kind of evil”, the Holy Spirit is strengthened and you are able to grow closer to God. Through the strength and support of the Holy Spirit, you are better able to walk in God's Truth, bringing forth God's promises not only in your life, but in your surroundings. Living in God's Truth is easier said than done, this world is filled with sin and a spirit of corruptness, anger, selfishness, pride and greed. As born-again believers, Roman's 12:2 states, ”Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” God has a plan for your life and it does not include acting like or resembling this world in any way. As your life continues to be transformed into a new person through the Holy Spirit within you; be strong, courageous and obedient to His guidance. Obedience can elevate you to a level of blessings beyond your expectations. I pray that the favor and abundance of God may surround you in all you do!
Dear Lord, thank You for loving us so much You were willing to die on the cross and be the final sacrifice for our salvation. We praise You! We honor You! We love You and thank You for being our Lord and Savior! In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
Shalom!!
