Good morning strong, anointed, blessed, highly favored, healed, whole, healthy, wise, knowledgeable, discerning, loving, caring and forgiving children of the Most High God!
1 Corinthians 3:5-9
“After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. 6 I planted the seed
in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. 7 It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. 9 For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.”
Life has a way of getting us so busy with things unrelated to the Kingdom that we forget we are Jesus’ hands and feet and have been given the great opportunity to carry out His works on this earth. We are all called to do His will. God created you and instilled His plan and purpose upon your heart that you may be the difference. You were created with a purpose and your life has meaning. In this world I see many people that lose hope because this world and its darkness leads them away from God’s chosen path for their lives. As humans we are created to do something, not sit around watching tv or thinking someone else will take care of it, but to truly be fulfilled we are created to serve God, His will and those around us. Above, it states Paul planted the seed and Apollos watered it. Just as it states in Romans 12:4-5,” Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” So it is with you and I that our talents and abilities were created to complement each other that we may ultimately walk in God’s will and serve those around us. Through God’s wisdom within us, we can see satan and the sin of this world at work in society. Today’s social media and influence insinuate that for a person to be successful you have to look and act like the so called “A” listers and do whatever it takes in order to have what they have. What a lie straight from the pit of hell. You were created to be YOU, no one else and you were created with a purpose for your life. Ephesians 2:10 tells us,” For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Knowing this, guard your hearts and do not allow the things of the flesh or this dark world to steal the peace, joy and truth that was instilled in your heart when you were transformed at your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Two other points important to understand in the above verses are, “And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.” John 4:35,” But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest.” The fields are ripe for harvest and this world is desperate for God’s Word. We should be spreading and sharing the Gospel everywhere we can. Lastly, we are God’s temple, His building. He created us so that He could work through us, showing Christ to those around us. First Corinthians 3:16, “Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?” You and I are the temple, we should take care of ourselves and serve selflessly as Christ exemplified when He walked on this earth. Don’t allow the sin and temptations of this world to steal who God created you to be, You are a child of God, He loves you and He has big plans for you! Stay true to His Word and walk in obedience to His will and your doors will never cease to stop opening. May God’s blessings, favor and anointing chase you down and overtake you!
Dear LORD, we pray that You would bless each one of us with boldness and strength that we may walk in Your will, speak Your Truth and share Your Gospel. May we know without a doubt Your calling upon our lives and through the Holy Spirit living within us, walk in Your purpose exalting You and Your Glory. We love, honor and praise You in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen.
Shalom!!
